An Interview with former Packer Ed Konopasek

Ed Konopasek was an undrafted free agent signed by the Packers in 1987. He talked about the process of signing as an UDFA in the NFL, the nature of minicamps and training camp, and trying to make the team.

Ed returned to the Packers as a replacement player in 1987, starting three games at Left Tackle. We talk about the strange season of 1987 and what it's like to play for the Packers at Lambeau Field. He also talked about why Forrest Gregg was the perfect coach for the replacement players, as well as about how Tim Harris was a great leader on the team.

Plus, the adjustment to life after football and why he chose to live in Green Bay after his playing days. "Big Ed" was a really fun interview with lots of stories.
