Magdoline (Mags) Awad joins Brett in the latest Bova Aus Podcast. Mags describes her time in the veterinary industry as one of the old school or ‘been around for a while'. 

Mags talks about her years at the RSPCA, challenges the charity faced with animal welfare, staff, and role as Chief Veterinary Officer.  After 17 years at the RSCPA Mags left and started a new career path in the corporate world with a role at Petsure Insurance as the Chief Veterinary Officer and what it was like to educate the profession and animal owners around the importance of pet insurance. 

In what was considered only a hand full of years at Petsure, Mags was offered a role at the larger veterinary corporate group, Greencross Limited as a Chief Veterinary Office and explains how the company handled the Covid lockdown and what measures were put into place to help safeguard the employees around this difficult and challenging time.
