The most important take aways is that this ICO or initial coin offering space (really, the whole cryptocurrency world) is speculation not investment.

What does that mean? Well, it is a bit more like gambling than a traditional investment in a company that has physical tangible assets.

This is extremely risky and should only be considered by people who have solid cash flow already and have been growing their net worth and wealth through traditional and less risky methods.

With that said, to allocate a small portion of one's portfolio into Cryptocurrencies does indeed expose you to a lot more risk, but the potential upside is potentially worth the risk for the right people.

Always do your due diligence and be sure you know what you are putting money towards and never put more than you can lose without losing sleep over it.
