In this week's episode, we talk about exercise in the heat and we interview the new Wainwrights record holder Paul Tierney. Paul is an ultra and runner based in Ambleside, who reduced thousands of trail runners to compulsive 'dot watchers' when he recently broke the Wainwrights record, raising a huge amount of money for the charity 'MIND' in the process. Paul, who is a running coach himself, tells us about the physical and mental challenge of keeping going for 6 days and 6 hours with minimal rest. His record is one of the greatest achievements within the world of ultra and trail running.
