“You have to find humor in dark situations or else the darkness gets darker and you’ll never see the light,” That is a quote from Larry Garza and its also the way he lives his life. He was one of the founding members of Comedia a Go Go a sketch comedy group that still has hardcore followers till this day. He earned a spot on the list of 25 influential latinos in San Antonio. He’s married, a father of two. In 2016 he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He didn’t let the darkness win, instead he starred in his first comedy special Big mama god and the hazel-eyed monster, an event that was literally planned in one day.
