The rituals we practice are formational. Some rituals we are aware of, some we aren't. In the Christian life, there are several rituals we are called to and one of the most important is the confession of our sin. It is difficult, it is awkward, but it is a crucial part of our daily walk with Christ.it

Advent reminds us of a voice crying out, preparing the way for Jesus to enter the world and begin his ministry. This season also reminds us that, like John, we are called as followers of Jesus to prepare the way for his return by crying out, being the voices that herald the good news of the hope we have in him.

God is intentional about the gifts that he gives us, and he does so expecting that we put those gifts to use. The Advent season reminds us that God has left us to be stewards of these good gifts and to use them for his glory and the good of those around us.
