Despite India's absence in the 2019 World Cup final, we were all excited to see what was in store as hosts England faced New Zealand. Little did we all expect to see what we ended up seeing. A low-scoring match produced what is arguably the greatest ODI of all-time. The game ended in a thrilling tie which led to a Super over to decide the World champion. The two teams couldn't be separated even in the Super over which led to England being declared as the winners on the virtue of having scored more boundaries. England lifted the World Cup for the first time while New Zealand was cruelly denied their moment of glory.
