Great reads.

In book combines 'Taming Her Temper: Forced Submission Domestic Discipline Kindle Edition' and the bonus story 'Claiming Mae: Historical Victorian Forceful Men' by Rayann Kendal .

'An Officer's Lady' actually gives you a complete story for 'Taming Her Temper'. I enjoyed it. It basically about step brother and step sister taboo relationship, but it is pretty unique. Step brother is in the navy and is on break. During break things occur that changes their relationship. It was well written and I loved that this book had complete story to it. Steamy parts are on both versions.

The bonus story is the same one that you can find under Rayann Kendal "Claiming Mae". The notes from author does state something about finishing it into sweet love story. Yes!!!! Please finish the story and I would easily buy that version with full ending and all.

You also get sneak peak at "Claiming His Ward". That one can be bought complete under 'Claiming His Ward: Historical Victorian Taboo'

by Randi Stepp and Rayann Kendal. That one was great read as well, but this story only has teaser.

Anyway, this was worth it for me to buy this book since I got two stories I enjoyed; original and bonus story 'Claiming Mae'. Both steamy reads. I really hope author does complete 'Claiming Mae' because I would enjly reading full story to that bonus read.

Being short stories there was little to build anticipation .

I did t feel as though I had time to connect with the characters.

The world building was OK, but the story lacked substance .

My favorite kind of naughty but sweet historical

I'm no writer, but I had to convey how much I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The writing is exceptional and allows the reader to truly in vision all that happening. I look forward to reading more from this author. Well done.
