Derek Redmond was feeling confident in his medal quest during the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.  He was one of the fastest in the world in his event, the 400 meters.  But during his semi-final race disaster struck.  It ended Derek's quest for a medal but it has left a legacy as one of the most memorable moments in modern.Olympic history.
