He is risen indeed!

Even disciples can be slow to believe. On that Resurrection Sunday the tomb was empty. Angels bore witness to His resurrection. Some women made their way to the tomb. Peter and John ran to the tomb. The report spread but some struggled.

Two disciples were walking the 3.75 miles to village of Emmaus when Jesus showed up to walk with them. They didn’t recognize Him but they had a little talk with Jesus recorded in Luke 24. It all centered on their need for an open heart.
