David the psalmist declared in Psalm 23, “I will not be afraid, for Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” God prepares a table before us, even in the presence of our enemies.
It’s a new song of trust, one that carries us through the valley of the shadow of death. Surrounded, threatened, yet at peace, because our supply comes from Him. This world can’t understand this kind of song. They see strength where fear should be, and confidence where despair should be overwhelming.
But it’s not just for you and me. David said, “My cup runs over.” What God pours into us begins to spill out from us and touches the lives of others around us.
Let that be your life today an overflowing cup. Let your song of trust be seen so that others can witness the strength that God is willing to give them.
My brother, my sister, it’s time to pray.
