Anders Fogh Rasmussen is that rarest of political animals: a high profile European leader who is unabashedly pro-American. As prime minister of Denmark, he enjoyed a close relationship with George W. Bush and supported the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq. He is a staunch supporter of Israel and was also a forceful defender of free speech after a Danish newspaper printed satirical cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, inflaming Muslim violence around the world.
He joined us to talk about his new book out about American leadership, "The Will to Lead: America's Indispensable Role in the Global Fight for Freedom."
