Sonny Perdue, the 31st United States Secretary of Agriculture, is a lifelong advocate for American agriculture. From growing up in a farming family in Bonaire, Georgia, and through his life in business and elected office, Perdue has experienced the industry from every possible perspective. Secretary Perdue is committed to his vision of USDA being the most effective, most efficient, and most customer-focused department in the entire federal government and is focused on fulfilling the motto “Do right and feed everyone.”
