It’s Reggie’s first day at Anachronis Eats and he’s excited to experience retail time travel. When he and his trainer Bo receive an order to pick up a pizza from a long-closed restaurant, they shimmer through the Amazon/Pepsi-Cola Temporal Portal to 1985. There, Reggie discovers the monetized past is rife with tourists seeking to relive their youth, which fuels a nostalgia industry that turns the 1980s into a caricature of itself. At least the music’s good. The delivery boys just want to have fu–un before picking up the order, but things go awry as they’re mistaken for someone else. Chased by hired goons and resentful locals, Reggie and Bo need to find a way home and get the pizza delivered on time.
