Recap: The Golden Knights welcomed in the first place Anaheim Ducks for a Pacific Division battle. Vegas took the early edge 5:47 into the opening twenty minutes. Late in the period Anaheim evened the score 1-1.
Midway through the middle frame the Ducks took a 2-1 advantage. Anaheim added to their lead late in the frame to take a two-goal lead into the second intermission.
Pavel Dorofeyev scored a quick power play goal to start off the final period. The Golden Knights continued to pressure the Ducks down the stretch and created several chances and rebounds. Defenseman Kaedan Korczak tied the game 3-3 with his second goal of the season. The game needed overtime to decide a winner. Eventually, the Ducks won the game late in OT.
The Golden Knights record drops to 7-3-4 falling to the Ducks 4-3 in overtime Next up, Vegas will host the two-time reigning champion Florida Panthers on Monday. Puck drop for a rematch of the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason)
Analysis: The middle frame was troublesome for the Golden Knights once again and it forced a tall hill to climb against a team that’s growing in confidence in the Anaheim Ducks. VGK turned the tide in the 3rd and looked like the team that has dominated this matchup for the better part of a decade. They were relentless and found a way all the way back to tie it. Unfortunately, another Theodore turnover cost them in overtime. (Analysis by Ken)

VGK Radio Network confirms William Karlsson will not return to tonight's game.
He played a shift at the end of the 1st and there was no noticeable play in which he was injured.
