Listen Later

"[I would tell my younger self:] don't dim your light for other people." In this episode of The YANApodcast, we continue our conversation with Anastasia Vlasova. Anastasia is a mental health activist and NYU student who hosts the podcast Our Turn to Talk which explores personal, systemic and global shifts that are necessary in order to make our world a kinder, more compassionate and self-aware place. Having immigrated from Russia, Anastasia experienced a lot of stigma surrounding mental health, but has discovered incredible ways to become an advocate while implementing her own methods of self improvement and care. She has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and was sponsored by Fila, Wilson and other sports brands as a champion tennis player. This girl is fire and is only 19 years old! Tune in to hear her incredible story of strength and resilience.
