The African National Congress has opted not to accept the request from its Limpopo chairperson, Stanley Mathabatha, to step aside from his role with immediate effect. In a statement that was released today, the party confirmed that the matter has been referred back to the province, allowing space for issues raised by Mathabatha to be addressed internally and for a resolution to be found.
