The CPSC and Ancheer have recalled Ancheer E-Bikes with water bottle-shaped cylindrical batteries.  The lithium ion batteries that power these bikes may spark, ignite, and explode with subsequent burn injuries to riders and bystanders.  The affected model number is AM001907.  About 22,000 of these bikes were sold online at aliexpress.com, ancheer.shop, amazon.com, ebay.newegg.com, overstock.com, rakuten.com, sears.com, walmart.com, and wish.com.  Stop using these bicycles and contact Ancheer at 1- 888-661-1330 for via email at [email protected] to obtain a replacement, safe battery.
