The weather is cooling down and we're getting into the holiday spirit with a seasonal classic in the beer world. We are drinking the 2018 Christmas Ale from Anchor Brewing in San Francisco, CA. Anchor has been releasing the Christmas Ale since 1975, and it has a slightly different recipe every year. This year's version has flavors of toasty cocoa, brûléed sugars, roasted malts and strong aromas of resinous pine. Will this be a harmonious winner? Or will there be too much bitterness to get on the same page?
