In an Armed Forces Day special (celebrated on 26th June), Chief Petty Officer, Ann Miller-McCaffrey recounts her reasons for joining the army as a woman, who would eventually come out as being in a same sex relationship, and the historical issues associated with being a woman, and LGBTQ+, in the military.
