This week learn all about the Ancient Order of Froth Blowers. This British organization found a way to drink beer and raise money for charity all at the same time! While we on the History Buffet always like to keep things pretty lighthearted we also felt the need to discuss a moment in U.S. History that tends to be overlooked. Amidst the Jim Crow Era was a terrible event known as the Tulsa Race Massacre. This is just one event of many that highlights the struggle of Black Americans in their effort to gain equality and civil rights in America. We take a strong stance against racism and encourage everyone to have conversations, practice empathy and listen in an effort to make positive changes towards justice and equality.
