Hooo boy. It's been a few months since one of these has come out, and it's probably not hard to guess why, but I still feel a little embarrassed about claiming to have a consistent release schedule back in May and then sitting on a couple of episodes for so long. BUT we are back with an interview that I recorded with Steven Bergeron and Kamillah Jonae, who make up the amazing "cinematic soul pop" group Ancient Posse. This conversation was recorded in mid-June, right smack dab between the murder of George Floyd and my departure for an extended stay in Portland, where I worked on music with some fellow Iowans who have been living there long enough to be Oregonians.
Stream or download Ancient Posse's music at https://ancientposse.bandcamp.com/
If you like the show, please share with your friends, subscribe, rate, and all that good stuff. There should be a link included below to donate as well, if you wish to support me financially. I book the episodes, record, edit, and often purchase the music that is featured, as well as paying my friend Nicholas Frampton to master ever since the Alex, the Traveler episode.
