To read or even memorize ancient Vedic chants and knowledge can be excellent.  To understand them is the next step.  But it is only when ones consciousness is expanded to live the secrets hidden within them that the ancient wisdom is gained.  Through the ancient story of the crow, we can begin to pass through that secret portal to gain the knowledge of the ancients.
