Obviously, you would never go to see a therapist whose only advice was to just stop doing the things that you are struggling with. Yet many people have this idea about God; that He expects you to just stop sinning. Thankfully, we have a wise, loving, and committed Wonderful Counselor who wants to guide us and teach us how to let go of our struggles and embrace the life He has for us.
