Deepfake – Episode 1: “And Justice for All”

In the near future, the AI justice system Athena promises perfect fairness—until it convicts Congresswoman Karen Atwood of murder in a trial built entirely on digital evidence. As protests erupt, ex-hacker Myah Jones reunites with her estranged sister Nikki, an investigative journalist probing Athena’s flaws. Hours later, Myah finds Nikki dead, the scene staged as a suicide. But the machine’s “87% probability of self-termination” doesn’t add up. When every clue points back to Athena, Myah must decide how far she’ll go to expose a system that sees, judges, and controls everything.
