Shawn and Leah were both born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Leah has lived in the Soo all of her life. Shawn went away to school, moved to another town, and finally returned home in 2022.

A brief overview of family life. Shawn and Leah each have one son, and several steo-children. Both of them are taking care of their fathers, both of whom are in their 70s.
