Kate has lost her job, broke her engagement off and decides to move from Manhattan to Coral Cay, Florida. Desperate for a job, she lucks out at the Cookie House. Unfortunately, her new boss is soon accused of murder and she must do what she can to prove his innocence and keep the bakery open.
