(Episode 8) A Math Tutor turned “TikTok Famous” and Influencer, Alexis Loveraz aka: ‘The TikTok Tutor’ has now accumulated nearly 800 Thousand Followers on his TikTok account, with over 7 Million Likes on his math tutoring videos. All of this within just a few months!

Prior to the worldwide COVID-19 crisis, Alexis held a 4.0 GPA at Harlem Prep High School.

Realizing that his fellow students would now face the challenge of having to stay engaged and continuing their educations online for the next year, or longer, Alexis felt the need to give back to the community by sharing his impeccable math skills with his peers.

After receiving positive feedback from various students who commented that his teaching style was way more effective than that of their previous math teachers, Alexis decided to expand his platform with hundreds of tutorial videos, and recently, by launching his community on Discord, which quickly attracted 16,000 followers.

The show was named "Best Local Morning Show" in 2009 by industry magazine FMQB, and was broadcast on several additional radio stations in DC, Baltimore, Tampa and Louisville. The Kane Show was one of the most popular radio programs for the past 14 years! And recently, Erick has just launched the new "Your Morning Show", for which he is not only the lead producer, but also part of the show's main cast. 

 The irony is that I was Erick’s intern at iHeartMedia at the very start of my career in the entertainment industry; and about a decade later I’m here with him again, but this time as an exclusive interview for my very own Entertainment Biz Podcast. ___
