If you love those balanced wines of Northern Italy, you’ll enjoy tuning in this week to hear Andrea Costa of Marenco Vini discuss his family winery in Strevi, a southern province of Piedmont, Italy. This is where Moscato di Asti shines. Andrea is the fourth generation to be involved in his family winery , which is located in the Monferatto region. Costa’s mother and two aunts are also still active in the day-to-day operations.
Hear more about the prized Moscato and Brachetto wines, along with their full range of Piedmontese grapes from still to sparkling, white to light red into deep rich red. Stay tuned for a tasting with Andrea in the coming weeks, as well.
