Andrea Rosillo, CPA | Life Gets Better (with Children, Courage, & Cava)

Listen Later

Excited to reveal the "human behind the professional" and also the "person behind the computer": Andrea Rosillo, our Chief Marketing Officer and Tax Senior at EY

Andrea has been part of the ALPFAmilia since before she stepped foot on The University of Texas at Dallas campus as an undergraduate student. Why does she stick around? She finds value and energy in sharing stories within a community that supports and champions each other's success!

She is also the Co-Lead of EY's Dallas LatinX Professional Network and continues to find (or create) ways to integrate her purpose into everything she invests her time to. Her purpose is to connect humans to knowledge, opportunities, and resources so that we may empower more diverse leaders!

In this episode, she shares these parts of one human story:

  • Being a wife, mom, and R&D tax accountant (women do it all)
  • Successfully passing the CPA exams (while pregnant)
  • Winning over an ED with a support system *trigger warning for minutes 16:20 to 26:08*
  • Gaining energy & clarity from eating healthy and working out (it's work, but it works)
  • & The importance of sharing your story (even if it reaches just one other person)!
  • If you would like to reach out and stay connected, follow Andrea Rosillo | LinkedIn & ALPFA Dallas | LinkedIn!

We hope you enjoy the episode made possible from the support of our local sponsors: Ally, EY, Deloitte, BDO, Comerica, Goldman Sachs, Protivity/Robert Half International, Weaver, Accenture, Boeing, and Toyota.

Follow to get notifications on upcoming episodes with other LatinX leaders and allies (& if you want to be a guest, please send your resume & quick paragraph of your WHY to [email protected]). Thank you for listening!
