The competition is tough and there is no denying it. Interviews are extremely scary but at the James Cook University (JCU) medical school after 1 minute with the interviewers I was very relaxed. They are very friendly and they try to keep the conversation going because they know you are anxious which is a normal emotion. Interviewers are trained to get the best answers out of you so you can get your best chance (depends on which school) - however at JCU this does not mean the standards are lowered, they just have a “tropical and chill” vibe.
This is a guide on past experience. It is by no means saying that those questions will come up as it just demonstrates how JCU do their interviews. You can find a lot of past experiences from other students on other websites. Hence, things may change and be outdated.
