The people of Thailand are rallying around rescuers, as they try to get a missing football team to safety.

The 12 teenage boys and their coach have been found alive, nine days after going missing deep inside a cave in the country's far north.

Rescuers are now working against the clock to get the boys to safety.

RTL-Hessen reporter Andreas Schopf is at the cave, and told Mike Hosking people are coming from near and far to offer their support.

"The Thais never stopped believing, it was really amazing to see how everyone worked together. There were people were coming from all over the country to help. People were donating food, donating clothes."
