June 21, 2023 - Jake Shumaker, Computer Science Major at Millikin University, and Andrew Craycraft, Director of Track & Field/Cross Country at Millikin joined Byers & Co to talk about Millikin's Track and Field Program.

The Millikin Men’s Track & Field team finished their 2023 Outdoor season in amazing fashion with a 2nd place finish at the CCIW Track & Field Championships. It was the team’s best Outdoor finish since 1963 and Coach Craycraft and his staff were named CCIW Men’s Coaching Staff of the Year.

Millikin teams were CCIW champions in 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay (Jake ran the anchor leg), setting a school record in the 4x400. Emmanuel Nwatu was on 4x100 team and also won in 100 hurdles.
