Andrew was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Soon thereafter, he began playing with Bird York, who in 2006 was nominated for an Oscar for her song in the movie Crash. Since then, he has kept up an extensive live performance schedule, and his guitar work can often be heard in film trailers, video games and TV shows.
