Andrew Henderson (ANU PhD 2022) shares his journey from being a “bad” law student, to developing a passion for education, to completing a PhD on how law school affects students’ motivation and identity.

Andrew has a fascination with teaching and learning, demonstrated through his wealth of experience as a tutor, research assistant and lecturer. Andrew has worked at ANU and now works at the University of Canberra. In the course of his PhD research, Andrew explored the way students cling to the myth of the perfect law student.
