Andrew Johnson delivered his address upon assuming the office of president on April 17th, 1865.. Read by Yuvraj Singh. Whoever came after Lincoln would have a lot to prove, though it's difficult to suppose many could do worse than Andrew Johnson. Johnson was a slaver, but against southern secession; still, his mishandling of Reconstruction would have a significant impact on the United States.
