Dairy prices have dropped for the tenth time in the past 12 months.
Prices dipped 1.3 percent at the latest Global Dairy Trade auction overnight, and the crucial whole milk powder price down 1.8 percent.
JMI Wealth director Andrew Kelleher told Mike Hosking many farmers will be getting nervous.
" The context coming into this is the recent downgrade of the forecast payout, which is in response to stronger milk supply signals coming out of the world's key dairy producing regions."
