The Turnbull Government says it's putting dodgy directors and their advisors on notice. It's consulting on a range of measures to crackdown on 'phoenixing' where company directors strip cash and assets before liquidating the company and starting over, often under another name.

But Labor says the package doesn't go far enough and has accused the government of sitting on its hands.
