(1:01:28-1:06:49) Conclusion; Dear Andy tomorrow! [email protected]
It’s a Wednesday’s saucy take Wednesday, and you’ll have to decide whether Andy, Ari or River has the sauciest take.
But first, there is news…
Ohio State center Seth McLaughlin injured his achilles tendon Tuesday at practice. This is devastating news, because McLaughlin had been the anchor of the Buckeyes’ line after transferring this offseason from Alabama. How will the injury affect Ohio State against Indiana on Saturday?
Also, Oregon is heading to the Big Ten title game. The league announced that on Tuesday afternoon because apparently no one bothered to check after Saturday’s games whether the Ducks had clinched.
Speaking of Indiana, Ari wants to know if fans without a team on the bubble really want Indiana in the College Football Playoff. Or would they rather have Tennessee, Texas A&M or another SEC school?
Plus, the CFP selection committee released its ranking Tuesday night, and Boise State is in a position to get a bye while the Big 12 champ is potentially headed for the No. 12 seed.
Now it’s time for saucy takes…
Ari thinks conference expansion has messed up everyone’s schedule…
Producer River thinks Arizona State is winning the Big 12…
Andy says Nebraska IS getting bowl eligible on Saturday.

Plus, Lane Kiffin says coaches want to skip the SEC championship game. Are they wrong, or would a team risk missing the College Football Playoff if it lost? And if a team did miss the CFP because of losing the SEC title game, how quickly would SEC commissioner Greg Sankey try to change the CFP format?

(1:26:19-1:28:04) Conclusion; See you tomorrow!
Happy Monday! Andy and Ari are picking the games of week 13 against the spread, but first there’s some news.
Wisconsin fired offensive coordinator Phil Longo a day after the Badgers took Oregon to the wire. Does this mean Luke Fickell wants to go back to Wisconsin’s offensive roots? Or does he just want a different version of what he envisioned when he hired Longo?
Now it’s time to pick some games. Indiana-Ohio State is the headliner, which still sounds strange to say out loud. Meanwhile, Kansas-Colorado and BYU-Arizona State will shape the Big 12 title race. And that Texas A&M-Auburn line looks very, very interesting.
Indiana at Ohio State (-11.5) Total: 52.5
Ole Miss at Florida (-9.5) Total: 55.5
Colorado at Kansas (+2.5) Total: 59.5
BYU at Arizona State (-3.5) Total: 48.5
Kentucky at Texas (-20.5) Total: 46.5
Wisconsin at Nebraska (-2.5) Total: 42.5
Penn State at Minnesota (+12.5) Total: 45.5

(1:34:06-1:34:35) Conclusion
Georgia played its best offensive game of the season, and QB Carson Beck played his best game of the season as the Bulldogs staved off College Football Playoff elimination by beating Tennessee.
That win makes the CFP bubble even more interesting. There are now six SEC teams (Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M) that could finish the season at 10-2 or better. They probably won’t all make the CFP.
Meanwhile, Oregon survived a scare at Wisconsin. The Badgers led for much of the night, but the Ducks took the lead late and hung on to win.
In other Big Ten news, Indiana signed coach Curt Cignetti to a new contract.
In the Big 12, Colorado pulled away from Utah to move to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 play. Meanwhile, Arizona State won at Kansas State to set up a huge matchup with BYU next week.
In the ACC, SMU stayed undefeated in conference play by beating Boston College. Clemson kept its slim conference title hopes alive with a narrow win at Pittsburgh.

It’s a Dear Andy/Dear Ari episode, but first we’ve got to discuss some news.
Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava was listed as questionable on the Volunteers first availability report for the Georgia game. How much does it change the outlook for the game if Iamaleava is limited or can’t play?
Also, Florida QB D.J. Lagway was listed as questionable for the LSU game, and Missouri QB Brady Cook was listed as doubtful for the South Carolina game.
Boston College QB Thomas Castellanos said he intends to enter the transfer portal. Castellanos was benched in favor of Grayson James during last week’s win against Syracuse, and coach Bill O’Brien named James the starter for Saturday’s game against SMU.
Now it’s time to answer your questions…
How does the Big Ten TV contract actually work?
Could the race to make the SEC title game still come down to a random draw?
Could 11-1 Indiana be left out of the College Football Playoff?

Will sought-after QB recruit Julian Lewis flip to Colorado from USC? That's what On3's Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons predicted Monday night. If it happens, does it change Andy and Ari's view of Deion Sanders' recruiting philosophy?
What time is the perfect time for a good college football game? Ohio State and Penn State fans have complained for the past few years about their best games being played at noon because of Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff broadcast. Monday, Fox’s Joel Klatt took to X to defend the practice. Andy and Ari will debate the perfect time for a major game.
Dana Holgorsen isn’t just consulting at Nebraska. The former West Virginia and Houston head coach is coordinating. He’ll call the offensive plays for the Cornhuskers the rest of season, and Nebraska coach Matt Rhule said he hopes Holgorsen sticks around for next season.
A reporter asked Kentucky coach Mark Stoops if he planned to step down after the season. Stoops was not amused.
With the College Football Playoff ranking reveal coming Tuesday night, producer River asks a great CFP question: What if Notre Dame’s loss to Northern Illinois had come in week 12 instead of week two?
