Hi there! A bit about me: I am originally from New England (Boston area) and relocated to San Francisco five years ago. I’ve been DJing for 17 years and have gone by a few different monikers, until finally deciding just to use my real name. Other monikers are NDK, and I am 1/2 of Tron Javolta, and 1/2 of Track Jacket Mafia with Darrell Tenaglia. Currently I run a record label that I co-founded with Lawrence Stone (aka Ménage à Moi) which launched officially in May of 2013. 2014 will be my third Slinky and I am honored to be asked to make a podcast for Jam On It. I wanted to make a mix that was slightly more upbeat and techy than my usual deeper mixes, with a “live” set feel. The inspiration for this podcast was a set I played at Bubble on Thanksgiving night here in San Francisco at Underground SF. With some minor changes, this is basically the set I played and is a mix of brand new and older tracks as I typically do. The set was not recorded that evening, and I really wish it had – BUT, I am glad that it can take on new life in Jam On It Podcast series. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.
