For this episode, we traveled to San Francisco to meet up with Thrasher Magazine Editor in Chief Jake Phelps. Since we had recorded this podcast episode, sadly, Jake has sadly passed away. We wanted to put this episode out to show what a fun guy, great storyteller and all around good person Jake was and is remembered as being. Jake talked to us about getting his first car at the age of 39 and all of the chaos around that, as well as all of the details of when he was on a Skate Rock trip in South Africa and had the brakes go out on the van the group had rented which led to them almost driving off a cliff with a dramatic twist of events. Thank you to Jake Phelps for your support of Stance through the years, but most importantly for helping pave a path for skateboarding around the globe in the best way possible. We have nothing but the utmost respect for Jake and the Thrasher Magazine staff and family and hope everyone enjoys this small glimpse into a short sit-down with the legend Jake Phelps himself. Rest in Peace Jake Phelps, thank you for everything.

Artist Neckface came to Stance HQ in San Clemente, CA to talk to us about the time he had participated in shenanigans with friends while he was living in Miami. There were fireworks, pyrotechnics, arrests, painting on walls, running from the cops, and eventually getting locked up in a Miami prison. Neck tells us about his time he spent in the jail and about his wild experience in the Miami Correctional Facility.
