During the 1960's, Andy Williams became one of the world's most popular vocalists. He was primarily an album artist and at one time earned more gold albums than Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis and Elvis Presley. He hosted his own TV show from 1962-71 and was a good friend of Senator Robert Kennedy. He was present in June 1968 when Sirhan Sirhan mortally wounded RFK - and was chosen to sing at his funeral.
