A wealthy French family can't accept the tragic suicide of their son, Jesper and ask the Deputy in charge to recommend a PI who wasn't local or a big name, to quietly investigate. He offered to triple CJ's going rate, plus transportation on his private jet, limo service and a luxury room aboard the yacht. Who could turn that down? The only problem is that CJ and Stella are getting married in eight days! Will Stella go for it and if she does, can they really solve the mystery in the eight days before the wedding? As I read the last word in Angel of Death, I felt cheated the next book in the series was not available yet. CJ Washburn and his partner Stella make a great PI team and a fun, engaging read.
Suicide or Murder?
Identical twin sons of a billonaire, like to hustle people at playing pool. When one of them allegedly commits suicide, the family can't accept it, and wants it investigated. Detective Parker Dupont asks private investigators C.J. Washburn and Stella Summers to take on the case. They travel to Florida where the death took place. When the case is over, they take a break from work to get married, and go on there honeymoon.
