Ragini Das (co-founder, leap.club) is a woman on a mission - more women in leadership roles. With the aim to bridge the long seen disparity between men and women in the workspace, her remarkable skills in building and expanding brands has been key in seamlessly accelerating leap.club towards this mission.
During her tenure at Zomato, Ragini had been a huge part of the building blocks of the brand and has garnered experience across various growth roles in a span of six years. Previously, as the head of International expansion for Zomato Gold, her expertise resulted in driving impeccable growth of the now leading delivery company. Ravi Iyer is a Senior Vice President & Head of Corporate Development, Partnerships, Corporate Finance at Flipkart. He is a veteran of Flipkart, having worked there over the last 8 years in multiple roles. Prior to that, he spent 12 years plus in the FMCG space at ITC. He has led multiple key initiatives at Flipkart over the years, most recently the acquisition of companies like Yaantra, Cleartrip and strategic partnership with companies like Moj and Adani. He has led multiple key initiatives at Flipkart over the years spoke to us about their accelerator program.
Arjun Vaidya was the CEO at Dr. Vaidya's: New Age Ayurveda (until Jan 2021). Prior to his entrepreneurial stint, Arjun graduated from Brown University, USA with a BA with honors in International Relations and Economics. He then worked in private equity at a consumer sector focused fund, L Capital Asia (the private equity arm of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group) where he focused specifically on consumer brands and consumer tech.
In October 2016, Arjun quit his job to take on his 150-year-old family legacy of Ayurvedic formulations that his grandfather left behind. Dr. Vaidya’s repackaged the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda and emerged as India’s largest Ayurveda brand online. The brand has successfully reached 1m+ consumers across 500+ cities and 16,500+ pin codes in India. Arjun was the first Ayurvedic Entrepreneur to be featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List for and Business World 40 Under 40 List! Dr. Vaidya’s also won Youth SMB of the Year from Amazon and the Retail Startup Award from the Retailers Association of India. In June 2019, Dr. Vaidya’s partnered with the USD 4b RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and has now been acquired by the group – making it one of India’s first successful D2C exits.
Currently, Arjun leads venture investing for Verlinvest in India (one of the world’s largest consumer brand focused funds). He is also an active angel investor mentor to brands in India’s D2C and ecommerce ecosystem.
Vishnu leads Corp Dev/Investments at Razorpay - with a focus on supporting innovation and creating value for the payments and banking fintech ecosystem in India. Razorpay is one of India's largest NeoBanking & payments player. Vishnu also manages investments at MarsShot Ventures (an angel fund for early stage entrepreneurs).
Dinesh Pai leads initiatives for Rainmatter, which is a Fintech focused fund by Zerodha. Rainmatter believes in helping people do better with their money and deepen capital market participation in India.
Shashwata Narain is the co-founder and CEO of Veera Health. Veera Health is on a mission to help women lead healthier lives. Veera’s first offering is a digital therapeutics platform that helps women identify and navigate Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), with a comprehensive offering of therapy, coaching and specialist support. Veera Health was founded in Mumbai by Shobhita and Shashwata Narain in August 2020. The sisters gained firsthand insight into the problem after Shobhita was diagnosed with PCOS a number of years ago. Shashwata has an MBA from Wharton and worked with consumer health companies at McKinsey.
Rohit is the Co-founder, Managing Director of Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, India's premier mother and child healthcare specialists. Rohit is amongst those limited few set of entrepreneurs who have built organisations from scratch and scaled over the years to now at the cusp of a public listing milestone. An avid startup evangelist, Rohit started investing through his fund Capier Investments over the last 5 years and has been able to use his entrepreneurial experience and skills to help invest in founders and their vision. Cloudnine aside, Rohit has built a tremendous portfolio which includes investments into marquee funds operating in the country to give him a ring side view of the best action.
