In this episode of the Grief and Belief podcast, KC Cowles shares his experiences with the passing of his biological mother, Holly, when he was young, and also his stepmother, Jodi, who passed away recently.

KC discusses the impact of these losses on himself and his family, including questions his daughters have about his mother, Holly. He recounts how he learned to grieve and allow himself to feel the pain and sorrow, recognizing those feelings as sacred.

KC also shares a story about losing his job and the "angels orchestrating the whole thing," bringing ministering and reassurance through friends. Ultimately, KC reflects on his belief in Jesus Christ and how acts of service and temple work build "this army that we build up in terms of angels round about us".
