Without faith in Him who is the Christ in Christmas, there really is no Christmas. Though we were not there to hear the angels sing on high, we nonetheless celebrate the birth they heralded. We recognize that at the birth of Jesus, heaven and earth connected in Him who was the God-man. We glorify God for what He has done in Jesus, and we thank Him for the peace that He has given to us. We are not angels, but this Christmas we sing with them, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
