The question of what to do with anger is an issue for followers of Jesus. The Bible tells us to separate ourselves from our anger and bitterness. We are supposed to extend kindness and compassion to those who offend us. God tells us to do this because He knows that unforgiveness is a prison that can lock us away from a relationship with Him and others.
