Squirrel pie, succotash and Mulligan stew—just a few of the dishes served up by Canada’s beloved artist Tom Thomson, as we learned from author Angie Littlefield in Tom Thomson’s Fine Kettle of Friends, a biographical adventure that combines history, art and food.

In June 2017, Angie dropped into the Storylines studio to stimulate our insatiable appetites for stories of Tom. We chatted about his Seattle and Toronto connections, and learned little known facts about his Huntsville haunts and the friends who enjoyed his cooking and company in Muskoka.
