Jesus is preaching to his disciples about life in the Kingdom of Heaven. He continues to ratchet up teachings linking anger and murder. Jesus teaches that they come from the same place in deep recesses of sinful hearts. We must do battle with indwelling sin and look to Jesus to save us and sanctify us.
