My favorite boys and I discuss the inimitable anime perfection that is Perfect Blue, directed by Satoshi Kon in 1997. We pair it with the kooky anthology triptych, The House, directed by Paloma Baeza, Marc Roels, Emma De Swaef, and Niki Lindroth von Bahr, made in 2022.

Animation and horror are a match made in movie heaven. Both these genres push the boundaries of story-telling and visual creativity, so it only makes sense that when they join forces, the product is something uniquely haunting, heartfelt, and special.
